Forest is part of our life. In our growth process, forests give us protection, clear air, fertilized soil; forests bring foods, water and health; forests bring houses, employment and income; forests cohere the communities, provide recreation and healing, allow people to cultivate temperament.
On the land covering 36,000m2, forests account for 60% area. We explore forest ecology and functions, apply forest operation and technology, and develop forest culture and ethics. We are people of forest; we diligently operate sustainable forest because forests are our future!
Forests are so close but sometimes far away from us. The history of Taiwan is the history using forests to enhance life quality. The past and present forests in Taiwan are developed between you and me and across all the lives. As to the future of forest between you and me, let us write the brilliant chapter of diversity accommodation, integrated community, natural co-existence and health sharing with sustainable concept, firm believe, humble attitude.
