The Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station is responsible for agricultural experiments and promotion in Yilan and Hualien counties. In light of the numerous challenges that globalization and extreme weather have on farm production and marketing, we actively implement and promote various agricultural policies to create a secure agricultural environment for both farmers and consumers. We also leverage our core expertise, integrate smart technologies, develop new crop varieties and techniques, and assist farmers in strengthening production and fostering innovative value addition, ultimately promoting sustainable growth in agriculture.
