Brief Introduction of Forestry Research Institute in 2009

The Taipei Nursery Garden that was founded in 1896 during Japanese rule has gone through development and evolution for more than a hundred years and become Taipei Botanical Garden that is well known to the public today. And the Forestry Research Station of the Governor General of Taiwan that was set up beside Taipei Nursery Garden in 1911 was the predecessor of the Forestry Research Institute that was founded in 1939 through reconstruction and existed until today after Taiwan was recovered in 1945.
